This page explains how ZAYA+ approaches material selection for Noir Immortal. An ingredient list is not treated as marketing here: a material earns its place by what it does over hours, not by how it reads on a page.
Philosophy
A material must behave, not impress.
Many houses publish long ingredient lists because length suggests generosity. ZAYA+ works the other way: each addition must justify itself against silence. If removing something makes the whole clearer, it is removed.
This is why intention comes before inventory. Density, balance and the way a blend settles on skin are decided first; naming comes last, and only when it is true.
A material earns its place by what it does over hours.
Sensory Role
Fewer parts, asked to carry more.
Restraint is a structural decision, not an aesthetic one. When fewer elements are present, each must hold its own character and still agree with the others — through the opening, through the settle, and through the long quiet of the drydown.
So the work is architectural: how weight is distributed, where balance is held, and what remains legible once the first impression has passed. Nothing about that architecture is described here in terms the House has not yet confirmed.
Sourcing Intention
Traceable, considered, unhurried.
Our intention is to work with suppliers who can account for what they sell — materials with documentation, consistency between batches, and a supply chain that behaves responsibly toward the people and places involved.
The House will not publish origin stories it cannot verify. Where a specific material, region or supplier partnership is confirmed, it will be stated plainly on this page before it appears anywhere else.
Olfactive Direction
Where this leads.
The debut signature is where these decisions become one object. Noir Immortal is an Eau de Parfum currently composed at a working concentration of approximately 30% oil and intended for presentation in 60 ml — figures that stand while the formula remains in refinement.
Two materials are confirmed as part of its working structure: smooth leather and controlled oud. They are stated because they are true, not because they are fashionable, and no proportion or dominance is claimed for either.
Around them, the current development direction is a warm amber-resin depth and a restrained smoky shadow, with warm woods, musk, saffron and incense used for movement, texture and the memory the signature is meant to leave. This describes the composition as it stands in refinement.
It is not a final note pyramid. No accord list, proportion, longevity or projection is published, because none is settled. When the formula is locked, the architecture will be published once — completely, and without revision by fashion.
Nothing is added to be noticed. Everything is added to remain.
